I found the location excellent, very close to town. Breakfast was included and different from a standard hotel. The lady serving breakfast was friendly and cute. The staff offered a lovely and helpful service.
Securing a table proved challenging because of the quiz night. Everything was reserved.

The hotel has a central location, near the southwest coast path for walkers. Ferries to other nearby locations are also very accessible. The premises were located close to town. I walked down a set of steps in about ten minutes.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast was freshly cooked and met my requirements. i left an ipad behind in my room, but kyra and ryan helped arrange a courier for its safe return. i appreciated their help.
there was no parking provided, and the street parking was usually full. i often had to park several streets away.

The staff personalized my stay. It was really nice. the breakfast offered plenty of options, and the evening menu seemed reasonable. i appreciated the fantastic harbour views from the quiet location. the selection of local cask ale was lovely, served by well trained staff (i enjoyed it a lot).
There was no dedicated parking. Street parking was often full, requiring me to park some streets away sometimes.

obstructed viewloud pub
i was disappointed to see scaffolding right outside my window. it really blocked the view i was hoping for. also, the noise from the pub downstairs was quite loud. it did stop promptly at 11 pm, but it was still a bit disruptive to my sleep.
